The Great Pottery Throw Down has captured the hearts and imaginations of audiences worldwide since its debut in 2015. The 2021 season showcased exceptional talent, with potters of various backgrounds and skill levels competing to become Britain's best amateur potter. The 2021 season featured twelve contestants, each bringing their unique style and approach to the art of pottery. With varying levels of experience and backgrounds, these talented individuals demonstrated their passion for ceramics, inspiring viewers and fellow potters alike.

From experienced hobbyists to those just beginning their pottery journey, the contestants' diverse range of skills created an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared learning. Throughout the competition, participants supported each other, exchanging ideas and techniques to elevate their craft.
